John O'Groats - oh did it rain!

The last 55 miles were the hardest with pressing rain, wind, headwinds and bloody tough climbs. If we'd have known we'd have gone further the night before and done just the last 13 miles or so or even collapsed it into the previous day. But this is how it worked out...

The Start at Land End and getting ready to go from Sennen

Signs and Markers - Reuben had a sign fettish (amongst other things) which meant stopping for most of the border and country signs so I've put them all on their own

The End at John O'Groats and our hasty retreat back South

The Big Bit in the Middle - The 905 miles in the middle!

Reuben gets a bit upset about the Wind and Rain on the last 13

13 miles later and we hit the outskirts of the last inhabited village in the UK

But it's all worth it as we grit our teeth for the camera

Not sure what Reubs was looking for here - nothing but north sea and sky around us at the end plus a Cafe and Visitors centre - expect nothing on finishing and you'll not be disappointed

That magical sign that they charge you for standing next to with a man on full time guard in case you sneak a shot...

A fine looking bunch of men with aching legs and everything else that comes with 905 miles outdoors in the rain!

Load em up we're outa here...!

We had Coffee and Paninis at an only just functioning Cafe and then got changed in the loos before scarpering for the long journey back home.

Thanks to Geoff for his support in a rare photographic moment here...

Reuben pulls a last minute Wheelie just to show us his skills!
